Black Friday week is here, and there are already copious deals on big-name smartwatches and fitness trackers from the likes of Apple, Samsung and more.
This year, those of you looking to bag a new smartwatch or one of the top fitness trackers will be able to do so on 23 November. However, as you may know from previous deal hunting, there are plenty of offers that are live ahead of the big day and even a few days after – Cyber Monday, of course, falls on 26 November.
With deals constantly going live and updating, we’ve created the ultimate hub to track the best Black Friday deals. In the US and UK, Amazon is already offering its Early Black Friday Deals, while leaks have detailed what Target, Best Buy and Kohl’s are planning, too. Also expect plenty to come from the likes of Macy’s and UK retailers Currys, Very and Argos.

If you’re aiming to pick up a smartwatch this Black Friday, there’s a good chance it’ll be the Apple Watch. With the Cupertino giant’s newest wares not coming cheap, trying to save some dough is only natural. However, don’t be surprised if you’re not seeing big savings on the Apple Watch Series 4, unveiled back in September.
Instead, expect older versions of the Watch to hit the sale aisle. Per the deals above, the Apple Watch Series 3 is prime to receive a discount, since this is the only other Watch officially still being produced by Apple, but Series 2 and Series 1 models may also pop up.
In typical Apple fashion, it generally doesn’t get involved in the Black Friday fun itself (save, perhaps, for a voucher when you spend over a certain amount), but there will undoubtedly be big savings through the likes of Amazon and other online retailers. Last year’s big push was in the form of $50 off the then-new Series 3 when bought with AirPods. Expect something similar this time around.

Picking up a Fitbit wearable on Black Friday is easier than ever before, with the past year seeing multiple new devices hit the shelves. The company now has two smartwatches to choose from – the Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa – while the new Charge 3 already appears subject to some price snipping.
Last year, the biggest price cuts came to the Alta, Flex 2 and Charge 2. Plenty appear to be getting the chop, as we can see in the deals above, and we expect the Ionic (already seeing sporadic £50 cuts throughout 2018 on Amazon and Fitbit) to be the most flogged option this Black Friday.
If you’re in the market for some Bluetooth headphones to pair with Fitbit’s built-in music storage, the company’s Flyer earbuds may also be bundled in.

Samsung is an interesting case to watch this Black Friday, with its new Galaxy Watch recently taking over from the Gear S3 and Gear Sport.
We’ve already seen a few deals leak for both its older smartwatches, as well as its fitness tracker, the Gear Fit2 Pro. However, just because the Galaxy Watch is newer, that doesn’t necessarily rule it out of being marked down itself – Target already appears to be planning a price snip.
Last year, we also saw $50 shaved off the then-new Gear Sport, and savings hit pretty much all the rest of its wearables range. This year, we could also include the Gear IconX 2018 and the old-but-gold Gear S2, which could represent a great pickup for those not necessarily worried about the latest generation.

We consider Fitbit to generally have a lot of options to choose from on Black Friday, but it’s a relatively paltry selection when put up against Garmin.
With the company dipping into pretty much every area of wearables, you can pretty count on there being something to appeal to you this Black Friday. If you want a fitness tracker, the GPS-packing Garmin Vivosport, battery-strong Vivofit 4 or brand new Vivosmart 4 could all see a discount, but the biggest savings will likely lie in the multi-sport range.
With the Fenix 5 Plus launching just a few months ago, the regular Fenix 5 line could see a big chunk knocked off its typical £500+ asking price. The same is true of the regular Vivoactive 3, with a music variant now available.
Offers are generally more generous in the US, but the selection is fairly even through Amazon across the pond, too. If the regular Garmin wearables aren’t to your taste, don’t forget there are specific devices dedicated to the likes of running, golf and even kids.

Google’s Wear platform has gone through somewhat of a maturation in 2018, but what has stayed consistent is the amount of smartwatches launching with the OS.
The Fossil Group is still the biggest proponent of the software, with watches from fashion houses such as Armani, Michael Kors, Diesel and Kate Spade all under its banner and renewed for 2018. However, on Black Friday, we typically see the older generations of Fossil’s own devices (like the Q Explorist picture above, and the Q Venture, which is set to see a big reduction from Target) receive the biggest discount.
